I found this little cutie in the 2004 Just Cross Stitch Ornament issue. I fell in love with the words when I read them, not sure how clearly you can make them all out. I'm not entirely sure I like my finishing skills but like my grandma use to say practice makes perfect. I'm hoping to get at least one decoration done a month so hopefully keeping fingers and toes crossed my finishing skills might improve. So without further fuss here is The Heart of Christmas by Charlotte's Web Needlework.

A New Update
Thursday, February 11, 2010
I've always wanted to try a 15 side biscornu so when I came across this blog http://defilenaiguille66240.over-blog.com/ offering this heart biscornu I knew I had to give it a try. I started late so I have another 3 squares to catch up on. I'm loving it so far, its proving to be a fairly fun and fast stitch looking forward to putting it together will share more progress in the coming weeks.

Tooooooo Much Time Blog Hopping
I joined 3 SAL's yesterday, I'm bad. So much for this year being focused and getting down to finishing some big projects that I had started last year. At least they are small SAL's, hopefully I can stay focused. The first one is "A Christmas Tree" offered by Alessandra Adelaide Needleworks which can be found here http://aaneedleworks.altervista.org/naturalgloom/AAN/AANindex.html I'm stitching this 1 over 1 on 36 count white linen. Sorry for the horrible picture but it is a gloomy overcast kind of day and I think I need new camera. The other 2 SAL's I joined you'll have to wait until tomorrow when I have something to show.
